New York, United States | March 19, 2026 The Nigeria Police Force has recorded another significant milestone in advancing gender inclusion, institutional reform, and international collaboration as three women police officers participated in the 70th Session of the (CSW70) held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from March 9–19, 2026. The Nigerian delegation was led by the Force Gender Advisor to the Inspector-General of Police, AIG Aishatu Abubakar Baju, OON, mni, whose leadership continues to drive strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening gender equality and the professional advancement of women within the Nigeria Police Force.
